Elegant Christening Cookies with a Touch of Color

Cookie Set Details:

• Each set includes 12 cookies of various sizes, ranging 2-4” in size, Vanilla flavor (by default), sugar cookies made to order.

• Made with a soft bite icing and a hint of vanilla flavor (by default). Please see other flavors offered.

Ingredients and packaging depend on the option you choose. Please send me a message if you have a particular question about any of this or a flavor option that is not listed.

Default Ingredients: white flour, eggs, water, butter, sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla.

Icing: powdered sugar, water, meringue powder, and flavor (vanilla by default)

Dough options ( one per dozen):

• Warm Vanilla Classics: classic and simple sugar cookie made with white sugar, eggs, white flour, butter, salt, baking soda and powder, and real vanilla.
• Lemon Craze: lemon juice and real zest are added to classic dough for a sweet-sour contrast with icing. Icing is made with lemon juice as well. The cookies are still sweet, just with a lemony kick.
• Gluten-Free Goodness: cookies are made with gluten-free flour blends like “Caputo” or similar. No wheat flour. The cookies are more fragile.
• Sugar Reduced Monk: white sugar will be substituted with Monk/erythritol, blend like “Duralife”. The Royal icing will still be made with regular powdered sugar.
• Dairy-Free Delight: real butter ( the only dairy I use) is substituted with plant-based butter.
• Organic Sweetheart: all ingredients are substituted for certified organic options available in stores.
• Brown Sugar Bliss: white sugar is substituted for brown sugar to create a bit less sweet caramel aftertaste.
• Confetti Sugar Pop: Vanilla option with colorful sprinkles mixed in.
• Choco Chip Charm: added chopped chocolate chopped to small pieces. Those cookies are a bit thicker.
• Peanutbutter Crave: vanilla base with added peanut butter to it.

Other Flavor options (one per order):

If you need even more freedom of flavor for both icing and dough, here are the artificial flavoring options for you. Vanilla is a default flavor for dough and icing. 

• Raspberry Bliss: just a tone of fruit.
• Lemon Sours: real lemon juice gives a nice contrast to the sweetness of the cookie, if added to the icing. My personal favorite.
• Cotton Candy: kids love it! Birthday party favorites.
• Bubblegum Pop: kids’ favorite just as well.
• Vanilla Class: you can not go wrong with classic home taste.
• Strawberry Blush: another fruity variation.

Our Promise & Refund Policy

We want you to be absolutely delighted with your treats from Southern Sugar Bakery! Every item is made with love and care, and we do our best to ensure it arrives perfectly. Here’s what you need to know if something isn’t quite right:

For Orders Picked Up at the Bakery

We love seeing you in person! When you pick up your order, please take a moment to look over your delicious items before you leave. Once they've left the bakery, we can't be responsible for any damage that might occur on the way home.

For Shipped Orders

We carefully pack every order to handle the journey to you. However, once the package is in the hands of the shipping carrier, its fate is out of our control. please be sure to enter your ship by date and choose a shipping method accordingly to allow a day or so for possible delays, weekends, holidays, and weather in your area. Just so you know, in the fall, Florida has a full-blown hurricane season, which can cause processing and shipping delays beyond our control.

• If your order arrives damaged: We're so sorry to hear that! Please email us at cozysweetery@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery. Include a brief description of the issue and a few photos of the damaged items and the box they arrived in. We usually include 1-2 extra cookies to cover for the unexpected. If you have 12 good cookies, there is no case to file, right? We do so because starting your replacement for one cookie is pretty much the same as starting the order from the beginning: with dough, 4-5 colors mixed and matched,  drying time, packing, shipping all over again. We'll review your case and do our best to find a fair solution, which may include a refund or replacement in some cases.

• If your order is delayed or lost: we understand how frustrating this can be. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for orders that are delayed or lost due to shipping carrier issues. We encourage you to use the tracking number provided in your email to monitor your package's progress and contact the carrier directly for more information.

We evaluate all refund and replacement requests on a case-by-case basis. Your happiness is important to us, and we'll always work to find a solution that's as sweet as our treats!

It is quite a common policy for perishable customized orders. However, if you do not agree with the risks it involves, it is easier to look for a bakery with a different policy at this point. We would be very sorry to see you leave, though! 

Shipping:

We take great care in packaging every single cookie to prevent breakage. They are shipped in a sturdy box with plenty of packing materials to keep them safe on their journey to you. If you have decided on a bow, it will be glued to the bag neatly. WARNING LABEL will be placed on/in the box, not each cookie individually. Feel free to display it nearby at your event.

Please note by what date you need your package TO BE SHIPPED. Please aim to ship your order 4-5 business days in advance, allowing a day or so for delays. Rush orders must be confirmed by email by the baker before being placed to avoid unpleasant surprises and cancellations. Usually, we need at least 3 days to complete the treats (bake, decorate, dry, pack, and ship)

Once your package leaves our bakery and is with the shipping carrier, its fate is out of our control. For that reason, we cannot be responsible for any damages or delays caused by the shipping carrier. Your package is partially covered by the carrier. A case can be filed to get the cost of the order in some cases. See the full policy.

We highly recommend selecting Priority Shipping for any time-sensitive orders and Priority Express for rush orders.

For local pickup orders, we have two packaging options to choose from!

Standard Gift Box:

Your treats are carefully placed in a beautiful gift box with a bow —perfect and ready for your celebration! We suggest enjoying these cookies within 1-2 days to ensure they're at their very best.

Individually Bagged & Bowed

If you'd like your cookies to last a bit longer or if you're planning to give them away as favors, we can individually package them for you. Each cookie is placed in a clear heat-sealed or peel-and-seal bag with a sweet bow glued to it. Let us know if you have strong preferences towards one or another; otherwise, it is the artist’s choice. This keeps them wonderfully fresh for 1-2 weeks.

Please note that our CozySweetery logo sticker and all allergy information and warning labels are on the box itself, not on each cookie. We can leave one in the box to be placed next to the cookies at the event venue. Please let us know. If you need labels for every cookie (let’s say, an official commercial party) It is possible, just let us know ahead of time. 

Personalization:

Our cookies are all made to order. Any aspect of the order can be changed with some limitations, of course. Our passion is creating culinary art. We believe every cookie is a tiny canvas, and we pour our hearts into designing a one-of-a-kind masterpiece for your order, never just a print. We believe the beauty of a handmade treat lies in its slight variations in design and color, making your order a one-of-a-kind culinary masterpiece and a bit of a surprise every time. This way, you get to have a beautiful and delicious work of art that's all your own—something truly special to show off at your party!

Out of respect for all original artists, we do not copy inspiration pictures exactly. Instead, we use them as a guide to understand the style, colors, and overall feel you love. If you are looking for cookies that are artistic, unique, and full of personality, then you've come to the right place. Let me know if this philosophy doesn’t sing to your heart (Let’s say it is a company logo). We can work on that together.

How to Share Your Vision

We would love to help you bring your ideas to life! The best way to share your vision is to send us anything that inspires you: pictures, invitations, color schemes, or even your drawings. Please be very specific with names, dates, messages, and so on. If you have misspelled something, it will be on the cookie. The window to change your order is very small. Please check it to avoid delays and unpleasant surprises.

If you have a set in mind, we recommend sending a picture of the full set, followed by screenshots of each individual cookie you love. Feel free to add comments and notes to help us understand your preferences. We'll get back to you with our own thoughts, suggestions, limitaions, and creative ideas to make your vision a reality.
